Contact the SWFSO Board, management, and local press. Tell them you want the Southwest Florida Symphony to return to its mission: bringing vibrant classical music and music education to our region. Demand answers, transparency, accountability, and new leadership.
Ask Them:
Why was there never a long-term strategic plan?
What is—or was—SWFSO’s 3-, 5-, or 10-year vision for the organization?Why did the Board choose to spend over $150,000 on out-of-town lawyers (and continues to spend…) to shut out musicians instead of producing concerts for our community in Fort Myers?
What is the succession plan for Board leadership?
Who will lead SWFSO forward—and why haven’t we seen change?
Demand a new CEO and new Board leadership.Why was world-class professional classical music and youth education cut from Southwest Florida, without ever appealing to the community or musicians?
Our community deserves better.
